One of my favorite types of photoshoots is in my studio, where I create comfortable and controlled environment to capture beautiful images of expecting mothers and their children.
During a maternity session, the focus is the beauty of pregnancy, and celebrating the strength and softness of the mother.
Once the baby arrives, many parents choose to continue the photography journey with a newborn lifestyle photoshoot. These sessions typically focus on capturing the sweet moments of a newborn's first days of life, including their tiny fingers and toes, sleepy yawns, and peaceful expressions.
Photoshoots will incorporate a variety of props such as blankets, baskets, and wraps to create a cozy and intimate setting for the baby. Parents can also choose to be included in the photos, capturing the joy and love they feel for their new addition.
One of the more frequent questions I get asked is "what should we wear?"
I believe that everyone in front of the camera should feel comfortable and confident in the clothes they are wearing. This is why I provide options for children (sizes preemie - 5/T), as well as maternity and postpartum gowns.

wHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY BABY'S PHOTOS?
A question I'm commonly asked. As a new parent, there are so many milestones to capture and cherish during your baby's first year of life. From their first smile to their first steps, every moment is precious and worth remembering. One of the best ways to capture these moments is through professional baby photos.
Newborn Photos (0-2 months): The best time to book newborn photos is within the first two weeks of your baby's life. During this time, babies are still very sleepy and can be easily posed in those adorable curled-up positions. This is also a great time to capture those tiny details like their tiny fingers and toes.
3-6 Months: Around three to six months is a great time to book another photo session. At this age, babies are starting to develop their own personalities and are often full of adorable expressions. They are also able to hold up their heads and start showing off their adorable chubby cheeks.
6-9 Months: By six to nine months, babies are usually sitting up on their own and are full of smiles and giggles. This is a great time to capture their developing personalities and their interactions with their surroundings. This is also a good time to capture their first teeth coming in.
9-12 Months: The final baby photo session of the first year should be booked around nine to twelve months. By this time, babies are often crawling or even taking their first steps. This is a great time to capture their mobility and their growing independence. You can also capture their first birthday in this photo session, making it a special milestone to remember.
