WHERE IS YOUR STUDIO LOCATED:
Downtown Anoka, Minnesota
Located in the historic downtown Anoka, the studio offers 2,000 sq feet, featuring 11 large windows offering natural light, exposed brick and minimalistic flare... a dream setting for any session. Steps away from the river as well as Mainstreet architecture. Booking clients will receive the studio address and instructions on how to enter before their scheduled session.
HOW DO WE PAY AND WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR GALLERY?
Galleries will generally be delivered within 3 weeks. This can change depending on the season and the type of session you are booking. An invoice will be emailed to you when the gallery is complete. Once the invoice is paid, you will receive a link and a code to download your photos.
WHAT DO YOU RECCOMEND WE WEAR?
I always recommend choosing outfits in soft, neutral, or earth-toned colors—think warm creams, olives, taupes, browns, dusty blues, or muted pinks. These tones photograph beautifully, feel timeless, and keep the focus on connection rather than clothing. Avoid bold logos or neon shades and aim for simple textures that complement each other. If you need help, I’m more than happy to share styling ideas or color palettes for your session.
DO YOU DO SESSIONS ON LOCATION?
Yes! I offer on-location sessions throughout the Twin Cities—parks, coffee shops, your home, or meaningful everyday spots. These sessions are lifestyle-driven, relaxed, and connection-focused. Outdoor sessions are also offered seasonally as minis, and the best way to hear about those is by joining the mailing list, or follow me on instagram and facebook at: ajhillsphotography

CAN I SHARE INSPIRATION FOR MY SESSION?
Absolutely—sharing inspiration is always welcome. Feel free to send over a few images, a Pinterest board, or notes about what you’re drawn to. These are used as inspiration, not exact recreations. I don’t copy the work of other photographers, but I’m happy to take the mood, feeling, color palette, or connection you love and interpret it in a way that’s authentic to you and true to my style. The result is imagery that feels personal, meaningful, and uniquely yours.
