Every year, I’m reminded that photography is so much more than images—it’s people, seasons, tiny moments, and the quiet in-betweens that end up meaning the most. As I look back on this year’s sessions, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for every family, couple, and little one who stepped in front of my lens and trusted me with their memories.

This year brought so much variety: early-spring sessions when Minnesota was just waking up, warm summer evenings filled with belly laughs, cozy fall walks wrapped in golden light, and the first frosty mornings that reminded us winter was coming (while it's quite literally snowing right now). I photographed moms holding their babies close, dads chasing toddlers through the studio, engaged couples who couldn’t stop smiling, and families who welcomed me into the sweetest, most genuine chapters of their lives.

What I loved most? The realness. The moments that weren’t posed or planned—the wind-messy hair, the way your child reached for your hand, the quiet pause before a kiss, the soft chaos that makes life feel full.

This year also brought growth behind the scenes. A website refresh, new location guides, updated pricing, and more clarity in how I want to serve you—intentionally, honestly, and with heart. I’m stepping into the new year excited, grateful, and energized to create even more magic with you.

Thank you for showing up. Thank you for trusting me. And thank you for letting me witness the love, connection, and everyday magic that make your stories truly yours.

Here’s to another year of storytelling.

Here’s to the small moments that feel like home.
